Hedwig Maes has been named as the new CEO of Tridonic. He took up the position on 1 September 2019 and succeeds Guido van Tartwijk, who left the company at his own request at the end of last year. Hedwig Maes reports directly to Alfred Felder, CEO of Tridonic’s parent Zumtobel Group.
Belgian-born Hedwig Maes is an experienced General Manager and Sales Leader with over 32 years’ experience in electronics, industrial automation, and industrial systems. Most recently, he had been VP of Global Systems & Solutions at Rockwell Automation for 10 years.

Fun fact: Hedwig Maes played major league handball for more than 15 years, including five years as a member of the Belgian national team.
